Location information
In Kenia gibt es - selbst in Nairobi und Mombasa - nicht unbedingt eine genaue Adresse. In vielen Fällen wird beschrieben, wie Sie Ihr Ziel finden. Das gilt auch für unsere Apartments, da wir ein Grundstück in ruhiger Umgebung anbieten. Abseits von Hotelanlagen mit lauter Musik, greller und bunter Beleuchtung😁.
Wenn Sie unseren Flughafen-Abholdienst in Anspruch nehmen (Sie werden mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit auch keinen günstigeren finden), weiß der Fahrer natürlich, wie er Jo's Baobab Luxury Apartments findet. Für den Fall, dass Sie auf eigener Achse unterwegs sind, stellen wir Ihnen aber auch eine Wegbeschreibung zur Verfügung, die Sie unten auch downloaden können.
Unsere Öffnungszeiten sind täglich von 09:00 bis 17:00 Uhr. Für unsere Gäste stehen wir rund um die Uhr zur Verfügung.
Wegbeschreibung
Folgen Sie ab Eleven Pearl Hotel bitte nicht Google Maps,
denn sonst werden Sie fehlgeleitet:
Von Mombasa kommend erreichen Sie Ukunda auf der Ukunda-Ramisi Road. Sie erkennen den Ortseingang an mehreren riesigen Werbeschildern links und rechts der Straße. Sobald Sie rechts eine "Rubis"-Tankstelle und im Hintergrund den "Naivas"-Markt sehen, erscheint nach wenigen Metern eine T-Kreuzung, in der Sie links abbiegen. Dort sehen Sie auch schon ein Hinweisschild zum "Ukunda Airport”.
Diese Straße fahren Sie nun bis zum Ende durch (rd. 2,3 km). Am Ende der Straße sehen Sie rechts einen "Carrefour"-Markt, der übrigens 24/7 (also 24 Stunden, 7 Tage) geöffnet hat. Hier können Sie jederzeit etwas einkaufen. In der Kreuzung biegen Sie rechts ab und fahren rd. 7 km nach Süden.
Kurz nachdem Sie das "Eleven Pearl Boutique Hotel" passiert haben, biegen Sie die erste Möglichkeit rechts ab. Fahren Sie nun weiter geradeaus, bis Sie den Diani Social Club und die Amani Luxury Apartments passiert haben. Unmittelbar nach Amani biegen Sie links ab in eine kleine und versteckte Straße. Nach einer S-Kurve halten sie sich links und fahren weiter geradeaus. Die drite Straße rechts ist Ihre Zielstraße. Nach 150 m (zweites Tor) haben Sie Ihr Ziel erreicht.
In Kenya—even in Nairobi and Mombasa—there isn't always a precise street address. Often, directions are given based on how to find your destination. This applies to our apartments as well, as we are located on a property in a quiet setting—far removed from hotel complexes featuring loud music and glaring, colorful lights😁.
If you use our airport pickup service (and you are unlikely to find a cheaper option), the driver will naturally know how to find Jo's Baobab Luxury Apartments. However, should you be traveling independently, we also provide directions, which you can download below.
Our office hours are daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We are available to our guests around the clock.
Directions
Please do not follow Google Maps when heading to the
Eleven Pearl Hotel, as it will lead you astray:
Coming from Mombasa, you will reach Ukunda via the Ukunda-Ramisi Road. You will recognize the town entrance by several huge billboards on the left and right sides of the road. As soon as you see a "Rubis" gas station on the right and the "Naivas" market in the background, you will come to a T-junction after a few meters; turn left here. You will also see a sign pointing to "Ukunda Airport" at this spot.
Follow this road to its end (approx. 2.3 km). At the end of the road, you will see a "Carrefour" market on the right—which, incidentally, is open 24/7 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week). You can shop there at any time. Turn right at the intersection and drive south for approximately 7 km.
Shortly after passing the "Eleven Pearl Boutique Hotel," take the first right turn. Continue straight ahead until you have passed the Diani Social Club and the Amani Luxury Apartments. Immediately after Amani, turn left onto a small, secluded road. After an S-curve, keep left and continue straight. The third road on the right is your destination road. After 150 meters (at the second gate), you will have reached your destination.
